Towner Road

GRITLINE collaborated closely with the architect to create a serene and comforting home for a couple seeking a restful retreat after long workdays. The design emphasizes simplicity and warmth, reflecting the couple’s desire for a cozy, homely space. A key modification was the expansion of the bedroom, which now includes a spacious study and dedicated vanity area for added comfort and functionality. Large-format floor tiles were chosen to elevate the interior with a sense of understated grandeur, diverging from the typical HDB aesthetic. The kitchen was designed with adaptability in mind—it can be opened or enclosed depending on the occasion or time of day, offering both flexibility and intimacy within the home.
